Treetop Walkway Lipno, unique in the whole country and first walkway of its kind in Czech Republic, welcomed its first visitor on 10th of July 2012. The Walkway is delicately incorporated into the landscape around Lipnolake and uniquely complements the Lipno region. It completes the offer of sport, educational and entertainment activities.

interactive didactic stops and one of the longest dry toboggans in the Czech Republic. Amazing view ofthe Lipno lake, Šumava nature, Novohradské hory mountains and peaks of the Austrian Alps. All this will be your reward for climbing the 675 meter long walkway up to 40 metres!

Dynamic pricing is not a new concept—it has been used in air travel and hotel reservations for many years, and customers consider it standard practice. A dynamic pricing model continuously adjusts ticket and product prices based on various factors. These factors can include the season, day of the week, time of purchase, weather forecasts, and the number of tickets or products already sold. In general, those who purchase tickets or products well in advance get the best price.
By introducing dynamic pricing, we want to offer our customers an attractive discount for buying early, which especially benefits families who plan their vacation in advance. The dynamic pricing model also helps us better balance visitor numbers and promote visits on weekdays or less busy days. Thanks to the appealing prices in our online e-shop, planning and booking a stay at Lipno becomes even more convenient and pleasant for our guests.
Compared to regular prices, tickets and products are cheaper for most of the season. Those who buy in advance get better prices, and on less busy days, visitors can receive additional discounts. Conversely, during peak season when demand is high, prices can rise. However, it remains true that anyone who purchases their ticket or product early on will benefit.
Yes, we also accept tickets for holders of disability cards. These tickets can be purchased in person at select ticket offices on-site upon presentation of a valid card.
You can find current prices in our e-shop at www.lipnocard.cz. The price will be displayed after you select the type, age category, and the first day of validity.
Yes. For selected tickets or products, when you purchase two adult or senior tickets or products, the price for a child is 50%.
Yes, the dynamic pricing model applies to all age groups, so children and seniors can also benefit from lower prices on selected tickets and products.
Those who purchase tickets or products online in advance get the most advantageous prices. The price gradually increases as the date of the experience approaches or as demand grows. Customers who buy in advance save compared to those who purchase the experience on the day of use—whether online or at the onsite ticket office.
You can conveniently purchase tickets or products online through our e-shop at www.lipnocard.cz and pay via our payment gateway. For some tickets or products, the price includes a refundable deposit of 50 CZS or 100 CZK for the Lipno.card, which serves as a carrier. After use, you can return your Lipno.card to the machines at parking lot P1 to get your deposit back, or you can keep the card for future purchases. Next time, you can load tickets or products directly onto the Lipno.card and skip the ticket office. If you already have a card, you can load your ticket or product onto it during purchase and immediately enjoy the experience.
In general, purchased tickets or products cannot be canceled or returned. An exception may be made in cases of serious illness or injury that prevent their use. In such a situation, a medical certificate from a specialist or a hospital confirmation is required. This process is governed by the valid Terms and Conditions of the Lipno Family Resort.
If the booked experience is not operating on the reserved day, you will receive a replacement voucher for a ticket or product as a gesture of goodwill, which you can use on any other day during the current season. However, if operations are suspended during the day due to bad weather, safety reasons, or force majeure—such as a storm—there is no entitlement to a refund. These and similar events are governed by the General Terms and Conditions of the Lipno Family Resort.

The treetop trail offers not only amazing views, but also a lot of information and adrenaline. Try our adrenaline stops on the way up. The biggest one is the adrenaline net just before you enter the tower. At a height of about 25 metres you suddenly find yourself in a free space and how far you venture into the area of the net is up to you and your courage. Whether just to the edge or right in the middle. But the feeling of freedom is 100% worth it!
The top experience of the Path is one of the longest dry toboggans in the Czech Republic. The one in Lipno is 52 metres long and it goes down through the inner part of the view tower.
A part of the Treetop Walkway, the famous Bird’s Path has been extended by the total of six models of bird nests. In addition to the installed bird nests, the bird’s kingdom on the Lipno Walkway features wooden sculptures of Šumava birds, information notice boards, birdhouses and a large bird clock. Come and examine in detail nests of song thrush, grey wagtail or common house martin and many other birds commonly found in the vicinity of the Walkway.
South Bohemia is a region full of beautiful places, but also great musicians. Imagine the scene at 24 metres, with the tips of Sumava spruces gently swaying around you, the unique lighting, the surprising acoustics of the wooden tower carrying the sound of instruments. Concerts take place every Thursday of the holiday season from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The trail is open until 9:30 pm during the concerts.
You can’t get all the way to the Walkway precincts by car. Park at the central parking place and continue by the Walkway Bus or cableway.

So much protective net has been used along the whole path. It is approximately the same distance as if you drive from the Lipno dam to the Frymburk traffic sign.
