About the Trail
Stezka korunami stromů Lipno, celorepublikový unikát a první stezka svého druhu v České republice, přivítala své první návštěvníky 10. července 2012. Stezka je citlivě začleněna do krajiny v okolí Lipenského jezera a je unikátním doplněním Lipna.
11 adrenaline sections for children,
interactive didactic stops and one of the longest dry toboggans in the Czech Republic. Amazing view ofthe Lipno lake, Šumava nature, Novohradské hory mountains and peaks of the Austrian Alps. All this will be your reward for climbing the 675 meter long walkway up to 40 metres!

Entertainment at the Walkway
Toboggan
The top experience of the Path is one of the longest dry toboggans in the Czech Republic. The one in Lipno is 52 metres long and it goes down through the inner part of the view tower.
Bird trail + bird clock
A part of the Treetop Walkway, the famous Bird’s Path has been extended by the total of six models of bird nests. In addition to the installed bird nests, the bird’s kingdom on the Lipno Walkway features wooden sculptures of Šumava birds, information notice boards, birdhouses and a large bird clock. Come and examine in detail nests of song thrush, grey wagtail or common house martin and many other birds commonly found in the vicinity of the Walkway.
Summer evening concerts
A region abundant in many beautiful places, South Bohemia is proud to be a home of excellent musicians. Add to this a scene 24 metres high, where Šumava spruce peaks sway gently all around, illuminated by unique lighting, with surprising acoustics of a wooden lookout tower carrying away the sound of musical instruments. Concerts are held every Tuesday during holidays from 20:00 to 22:00 hours and are included in the entrance fee for the Treetop Walkway. The Walkway is open until 23:00 during concerts.
How to find us
You can’t get all the way to the Walkway precincts by car. Park at the central parking place and continue by the Walkway Bus or cableway.
You can also take 1 km walking or cycling tour with marked path.

So much protective net has been used along the whole path. It is approximately the same distance as if you drive from the Lipno dam to the Frymburk traffic sign.

Where did you last drill an 80 cm long screw? We used them when building the Path. Such a screw would reach till the belly button of an adult.

The air distance between the Path and Marina Lipno. That is the total length of LED strips that have been used to illuminate the Path at night.

The Treetop Walkway is not the only attraction on offer. At the end of your fun-packed walk, let us treat you to great food in our stylish Energo Restaurant, situated right next to the Walkway. With the capacity of 260 seats, the restaurant is popular for its attractive atmosphere reminiscent of Alpine resorts, and a large terrace facing the Walkway, the surrounding landscape and the lake.
